Watch Our Progress: Downtown Burlington Is Open for Business
TIGER Project work has wrapped up on the Riverfront, Main Street, and the 500 block of Jefferson Street for the Winter, but Winter will soon end.
Construction will start back up on Jefferson and Main Street as soon as the weather changes. The railroad intersection on the 800 block of Jefferson Street will be opening soon which will make it easier for traffic to get through to Central Street and allow the community to easily access the businesses that have been cut off for so long due to the construction. Downtown is excited to be reconnected with The Som, Gold Tooth Gallery, Pride & Groom and Access Systems.
With all of the projects happening in the Downtown District, remember "We Are Open for Business". Come down and see
the progress for yourself! Stroll, shop, eat, drink, and enjoy the Downtown!
Follow the most recent TIGER Project updates at:
A customized version of "Preparing for Construction Guide", outlining ideas and proposed implementation activities are being utilized in the Downtown District.
