Leadership Essentials 2023 is underway, with a cohort comprised of 24 emerging leaders . Having met twice in January, the January 12 session involved establishing the program foundations, with class members getting to know each other and form Community Impact Project (CIP) teams that will support the following organizations: JustLiving Advocacy Inc., Community Development Network of Maryland, and GEDCO (Govans Ecumenical Development Corporation)! Thank you to our CIP hosts - Nette Stokes, Claudia Randall, and Ted Gross, and the CIP Committee for their help!

On January 26, Kelly Mitchell from impactHR led the cohort through the results of their Strength Deployment Inventory (SDI) assessment. We were thrilled to have Lori Fuchs, LP '02, former LE program manager and current LE facilitator, walk the group through an assessment of their strengths and overdone strengths. If you’d like to learn more about Leadership Essentials, please email Katherine Keefe.

The next Class Connections will be distributed in mid-February. Remember to let LHC know how you are staying connected... please share your news/updates/photos with Karen Bryant.
