Here Are Some Answers:

Q: Does my health insurance cover at home tests? How does it get paid for?

A: Yes, as of January 15th insurance companies are required to cover the cost up to $12 per individual test. You can either submit a claim to your insurance company or find a location participating with your insurer where you can pick up your test with verification of your insurance coverage.

Q: What if I'm on Medicare?

A: Original Medicare is not providing free at-home tests. Your individual supplement plan or Advantage plan may offer coverage. Check with your insurer.

Q: How do I order my free tests from the government?

A: Each household is eligible for 4 free tests. The site to order can be found here.

We are excited to have Elaine Butto join our team as Accounting Manager. Elaine is a graduate of Bloomsburg University where she earned a degree in Business Finance. She has worked managing the accounting of insurance agencies for the last 24 years. Elaine is married to her husband Joe, and raised two daughters. The newest addition to her family is a rescue mini poodle named Sophie. Elaine enjoys spending time with her family, dogs and traveling to the sunny island of St. John. We are happy to have Elaine as a member of the Gallen Team!

Gallen Insurance is pleased to announce that Art Dunlop has joined our team as an insurance consultant. Art has been in the insurance business for over 40 years and is a graduate of Wesley College. Art has acquired many skills in personal and commercial insurance over his tenure as an insurance executive and we welcome his wealth of experience.

Art shares his life with his wife Christina, his son Hamilton and his daughter Alexandra. He enjoys the Philadelphia Flyers hockey team and travelling to Florida for vacation.

Art would describe himself as loyal and title his autobiography, “It’s Not Over Yet”.

A fun fact you might not know about Art is his mother was crowned Mrs. Pennsylvania in 1956.
