New Benefit for Members!

Bardstown-Nelson County Chamber of Commerce Announces Partnership with BluMine Health

The Bardstown-Nelson County Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce our new partnership with BluMine Health, offering a comprehensive healthcare benefit to individuals working for Chamber member businesses. This initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to supporting local businesses and enhancing the well-being of our community.

About the BluMine Health Benefit

Employees of Chamber member businesses, as well as their eligible dependents (ages 2-26 if still considered dependents), can now access BluMine Health’s concierge primary care services. For those not employed by a Chamber member business, individuals can join the Chamber to take advantage of this benefit.

This service provides comprehensive, front-line primary care, including:

Chronic disease management
Annual wellness physicals
Basic lab work and blood draws
Cold/flu treatments and much more

Affordable and Accessible Healthcare

The cost is just $72 per month for a family plan, with a one-time set-up fee. Payments are conveniently set up via ACH and will be deducted on the 23rd of each month.

BluMine Health has multiple care center locations, including right here in Bardstown at 700 Portland Avenue, Suite C. Other locations span across Kentucky and Southern Indiana to provide flexibility and access wherever you are.

`January Connect Hosted By: Nelson County Public Library & Food Obsessions Catering

What a fantastic night at our first 5pm Connect of the year! We want to give a huge thanks to the Nelson County Public Library and Food Obsessions Catering for hosting. We had an incredible evening of networking, table games, a hilarious "Paint Your Friend" challenge, and an adventurous library scavenger hunt! There was delicious food courtesy of Food Obsessions.

Board Retreat

On January 24th, the Bardstown-Nelson County Chamber hosted its annual board retreat at the Creative Studio. Board members enjoyed lunch at Marcella's Late Night Café and received an exclusive sneak peek of the Trail Hotel. The retreat provided an opportunity for new board members to connect with existing members while engaging in strategic planning. Former board members Jessica Leake and Christine Hovan joined the discussion, sharing insights on the responsibilities and impact of serving on the board.

Young Leaders

On January 29th, our Young Leaders gathered together for Government and Manufacturing Day! We kicked things off with a fascinating tour of the Courthouse and Justice Center, getting a behind-the-scenes look at the legal system in action. Then, we headed to American Fuji Seal where we got a closer look at their operations and were treated to a delicious lunch. Finally, we wrapped up the day at the Bardstown Police Department, learning about the important work they do in keeping our community safe.
