Your former director Lauren Smith represented us (check out her hat!) at the first "Tussey Teaser" (a shorter race) held in February. More volunteers are needed at upcoming Teaser races in March, April, May & June to enthusiastically cheer on runners, hand out water and event prizes, and photograph events.

All proceeds from these races and the major event in October go directly to support CRDSS programs for our members. Sign up for a Tussey Teaser here!

Don't forget to visit our website calendar for detailed information about our events.

If you are planning an event or activity, even something informal, to which members are invited, contact Anne Marie and she'll get it on the calendar!

If you haven’t found us on social media yet, we’re eager to have you join us! CRDSS has both a private group, CDRSS Caregivers & Advocates Support Group, and a public page, Centre Region Down Syndrome Society. We urge you to follow us and “like,” “comment,” and “share” our public page posts to help raise awareness for CRDSS in our local communities and among our friends and families.

The National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS) is conducting a monthly series of State Advocacy Zoom calls to discuss issues of interest. If you are trained in advocacy or are interested in learning more about this, contact Anne Marie and she'll hook you up with the folks who can guide you.
