Vision Maker Film Festival Presents 
Indigenous Women's Films
March 8th, 2019
Vision Maker Media, in partnership with the UNL Women's Center, celebrating Women's week, will showcase six powerful films by and about Indigenous women, March 8, 2019. The event features special appearances by Brooke Pepion Swaney (Blackfeet/Salish), Kendra Mylnechuk (Lummi), Elizabeth Castle, and Marcella Gilbert (Oohenumpa Lakota).

Vision Maker Media At Sundance 
Along with our premiere of Words from a Bear, the 2019 Sundance Film Festival was a hot stop for thriving and upcoming Indigenous filmmakers, in Park City, Utah.

This year, Sundance featured eight Indigenous Films, in addition to events that focused on the inclusion and expansion of the Indigenous Narrative.  Read more.

Vision Maker Media invites applications for projects intended for public media that represent the cultures, experiences and values of American Indians and Alaska Natives. Vision Maker Media will consider funding projects at any production stage, including research and development, production, post-production and new media.
