To celebrate Black History Month, YWCA Bethlehem will share Mae Among the Stars. This is a story about Mae Jemison, the first African American woman in space. You will also learn about other bold girls who broke through barriers to show the world a simple truth—if you can dream it, you can do it. (suggested ages—6 and older)

Join author Paul Acampora to share and discover real-life stories and adventures that make our favorite books and characters come alive. Feel free to bring your own favorite—a novel, a short story, a picture book, or even some writing of your own to share. (appropriate for children of all ages)
