February 2026 Chamber Newsletter

Hello-

Thank you to those who took the super easy January survey! Results say many people didn't go to school for what they do now (along with some funny comments on that), and people are watching some great shows! Don't forget to take a moment to do the February survey. We enjoy getting insight on our Chamber members.

February is shaping up to be a busy month at the Chamber and for our members, just take a look at the event calendar. We hope to see you this month at a networking event or our annual Leadership Luncheon.

For those that have been in a holiday fog the past two months, don't forget to renew your membership and join us for another year of promotion, events, resources, education and networking.

As always if you have any questions on your Chamber membership, please do not hesitate to reach out so we can talk about it.

Happy February!

Leadership Germantown

The January Session of the Class of 2026 was in West Bend and the class got to learn more about the resources provided in the county and complete Real Colors Part 2.

The day started at the Tower Heritage Center, moved to the Government Center and ended at Drug Treatment Court and was packed full of learning and fun.

Class of 2026 Projects have started! If you would like to show your support to one of these projects, contact the Chamber office at executivedirector@germantownchamber.org.

The Class is working to help the following organizations

Friends of Germantown K9

  • raising funds to retrofit a new Police Car to be suitable for a K9 officer

Germantown School District

  • creating new connections in the community for school supply donations to support Germantown students in need of school supplies all throughout the year. See the Share the Love School Supply Drive Flyer.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Washington County

  • bringing knowledge to Germantown about the need for "Bigs" for about 20 Germantown kids who are in need of a "Big". The Baseball Tailgate party will provide a fun event for these "Littles" and the community but to also raise awareness of how people can support the organization and the kids. See the Baseball Tailgate flyer.

Volunteering & Help Wanted

Looking for something new or need to post an opportunity?

The Germantown Chamber website has a section dedicated to

job listings, volunteering and community needs.

WCHS Volunteers Needed!

Volunteers are critical parts of non-profits throughout the world, including here at WCHS. Our volunteers not only help to lighten the load of our staff, but by donating their time and talents, volunteers ensure that shelter operations can progress to a new level by assisting in socializing the animals, cleaning the shelter and helping at events and fundraisers. Staff and volunteers work together not only in animal care giving, but also in sharing the WCHS mission throughout the shelter and the community.
