Class of 2026 Projects have started! If you would like to show your support to one of these projects, contact the Chamber office at executivedirector@germantownchamber.org.
The Class is working to help the following organizations
Friends of Germantown K9
- raising funds to retrofit a new Police Car to be suitable for a K9 officer
Germantown School District
- creating new connections in the community for school supply donations to support Germantown students in need of school supplies all throughout the year. See the Share the Love School Supply Drive Flyer.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Washington County
- bringing knowledge to Germantown about the need for "Bigs" for about 20 Germantown kids who are in need of a "Big". The Baseball Tailgate party will provide a fun event for these "Littles" and the community but to also raise awareness of how people can support the organization and the kids. WCHS Volunteers Needed!
Volunteers are critical parts of non-profits throughout the world, including here at WCHS. Our volunteers not only help to lighten the load of our staff, but by donating their time and talents, volunteers ensure that shelter operations can progress to a new level by assisting in socializing the animals, cleaning the shelter and helping at events and fundraisers. Staff and volunteers work together not only in animal care giving, but also in sharing the WCHS mission throughout the shelter and the community.
