Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Welcome to February, a month dedicated to the Holy Family.

As the new year moves forward, we are reminded of the changing seasons and our journey in faith as Ordinary Time leads us toward Lent. May this month offer us opportunities to grow closer to Christ.

We begin with the Presentation of the Lord (Candlemas) on February 2, followed by the Blessing of Throats on February 3 in honor of St. Blaise. We also celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes on February 11 and the Feast of the Chair of St. Peter on February 22, which highlights the unity and teaching authority of the Church.

February is also known as a month of love, offering a special opportunity to lift up the vocation of marriage. We observe National Marriage Week from February 7–14, along with St. Valentine’s Day and Marriage Tune-Up Weekend. Let us pray for all married couples, especially those celebrating milestone anniversaries at Bishop Barbarito’s 42nd Annual Anniversary Masses (please see our "For your Marriage" section for details).

Throughout this month of love, may we remember how deeply the Lord loves us and that He came so we might have life in abundance. As we conclude the month, we joyfully welcome the Vespers, Ordination and Installation of Bishop Manuel de Jesús Rodríguez on February 23–24. Please visit the "Special Events" section below for more details on this joyful diocesan celebration.

May God’s mercy and peace be with you.

Cathy, Deacon Louie, Maria, Liliana, Andy,

Cindy, Rosario, and Beth

National Eucharistic Pilgrimage 2026

Walk with Jesus. Pray for the nation. Follow the journey.

In honor of America’s 250th year, the 2026 National Eucharistic Pilgrimage will carry the theme One Nation Under God. One Nation Under God is not a slogan—it’s an invitation to realign our lives, communities, and country under the sovereignty of Christ. It’s a call to build unity through prayer, and to let Jesus, present in the Eucharist, renew and heal the heart of our country, one soul at a time. As pilgrims on this route, we walk with Christ so that His love might draw our nation back to Him. You’re invited to join us, in person or in spirit, and offer prayers and sacrifices for the renewal of America.

Thank you Bishop Barbarito for your unfailing support of marriage, family life, faith formation & youth ministry in the Diocese of Palm Beach. Ever since I met with our soon-to-retire Bishop Gerald Barbarito in early 2013 to discuss the open position for a diocesan Director of Marriage and Family Life, I knew without a doubt how much importance he places on the family and all aspects of family life. ...
