Voting for the District IV election will begin at 5pm, one hour prior to the start of the meeting. More info below.

NOTICE TO SUB-AREA IV FREEHOLDERS OF THE LAKE LEMON

CONSERVANCY DISTRICT


Two (2) Sub-Area IV Freeholders have been successfully nominated for the Sub-Area IV Director’s position on the LLCD Board of Directors.

 

Candidates are: Stephen Freeman & Stephen Warner

 

Voting for this Director’s position will be from 5:00PM to 6:00PM prior to the start of the District’s Annual Meeting on Thursday, February 27, 2025, held at the City of Blooming Utilities Building, (600 E. Miller Dr., Bloomington, IN, 47401).

 

If a Sub-Area IV Freeholder cannot attend the Annual Meeting, he or she may vote Absentee Ballot in the upcoming election by complying with the following procedures:

1.       A Sub-Area IV Freeholder is entitled to one (1) vote per freehold.

2.       A Sub-Area IV Freeholder may make an appointment by calling the District Office at             812-334-0233 to pick up an Absentee Ballot Package. OR

3.       A Sub-Area IV Freeholder may mail a pre-addressed, postage pre-paid, #10 business envelope to the District Office, 7599 North Tunnel Road, Unionville IN 47468, and request an Absentee Ballot Package. The request must be in writing and be signed by the Sub-Area IV Freeholder making the request. The District Office will mail the Absentee Ballot Package to the Freeholder in the provided pre-addressed, postage pre-paid, #10 business envelope.

4.       All Absentee Ballots must be received at the LLCD Office by 4:30PM, Wednesday, February 26, 2025.

The 3rd Annual Lemon Drop Polar Plunge Recap

The 3rd Annual Lemon Drop Polar Plunge at Lake Lemon Riddle Point Park was a POLAR SUCCESS! This was the frostiest plunge yet and with over sixty daredevils who braved the icy waters, we couldn't have asked for a better winter get together. We extend our warmest thank yous to those who donated and participated - we are able to continue this annual Lake Lemon tradition because of you all.


We do still have scarves available, now for purchase at $35/scarf. Get yours today (in person pickup only)! These will also be available at the Annual Meeting.

Subleases & Annual Permits

It's that time of year - renewal of sublease docks and boat permits! Do you have a sublease dock? Be sure to check your email for this years agreement. Payments received before March 1st guarantee you a $40 discount.


Boat permits will be available for purchase starting March 1st! Stop by the office to update vessel info and obtain new stickers.
