Join us on Thursday, February 22nd at 6:30 for a meeting of the Cockade City Camera Club. At this meeting, we will talk about and share our influences. Who, or what, inspires your photography? We all have a photograph, photographer, painting, film, etc. that inspired us to pick up a camera and learn photography. Send your inspirations to [email protected], or bring something to share in any form you wish. For example, I will be bringing a book on Man Ray and show a clip from a short by Austrian filmmaker, Peter Tscherkassky.
The Monthly Photo Contest theme is "Closeup", so don't forget to bring your print (max 8.5 x 11) to enter. Also, don't forget to submit up to three images for our miscellaneous slide show to [email protected] by Midnight, Wednesday, February 21st.
Our "yard sale" continues, so if you have unwanted gear you are willing to donate to the Club, bring it to the meeting. For a donation, members can buy used gear with the proceeds going to the Club.
