Cox siblings named Recreation Volunteers of the Year
The City of Dover Recreation Department awarded the sister and brother team of Katy and Matt Cox the Dover Recreation Volunteer of the Year Award for 2020. They were also the recipients of the 2020 Heyliger Dover Recreational Basketball Volunteer Award. Matt is an attorney at Burns, Bryant, Cox, Rockefeller & Durkin P.A.

DALC a finalist for Rethink Adult Ed challenge
Dover Adult Learning Center of Strafford County is pleased to announce that DALC is one of 95 finalists chosen to advance to Stage 2 of the national Rethink Adult Ed challenge, www.rethinkadulted.com. The challenge is a $750,000 competition to advance pre-apprenticeships.

Raynes named HRCU's Director of Marketing
HRCU is pleased to announce that Charlie Raynes has been hired as their Director of Marketing. Raynes takes the lead on overseeing the credit union’s marketing efforts companywide. Raynes brings a long and diverse marketing background to HRCU, most recently serving as VP Global Marcom for Mersen in Newburyport, Ma.

Dover Housing Authority Commissioners select new Executive Director
After an extensive search, the Board of Commissioners has selected the next Executive Director of the Dover Housing Authority (DHA). A former Dover resident, graduate of UNH and grandson of Clarostat Mill employees, Lt. Col. Ryan Crosby is returning to New Hampshire where he was born and raised to become the sixth executive director of DHA, succeeding retiring Executive Director Allan Krans.

Sharla Rollins, First Seacoast Bank Vice President, Branch Administrator is pleased to announce the addition of Ian Oneail as Assistant Vice President, Branch Manager. Molly Burns earns CPA with Leone, McDonnell & Roberts
Leone, McDonnell & Roberts is pleased to announce that Molly Burns has earned her Certified Public Accountant designation.
Molly completed the rigorous academic requirements, passed all four components of the demanding Uniform Certified Public Accountant (CPA) examination and completed the necessary experience requirements to receive her CPA license in the State of New Hampshire.

Wentworth-Douglass names Bagni as communications director
Wentworth-Douglass Hospital has named Adam Bagni, a former award-winning television journalist, as its newest Director of Communications and Community Relations. Bagni will be responsible for developing, and executing, the hospital’s comprehensive internal communication, community engagement, marketing, and public relations strategies. He’ll also serve as their primary spokesman.

Awards will be given out to the citizen, volunteer, educator, business and non-profit of the year. The Chamber also awards a $1,000 scholarship to a local area student pursuing higher education. Nominations for business, volunteer, non-profit, and citizen of the year are due April 9 by 4 p.m. Nominations for educator of the year and student scholarship applications are due May 3 by 4 p.m.To submit a nomination for any of the above, please visit dovernh.org/awards.
