Greetings Fellow T&C Families & Friends,
Finally, the Spring season is here!!!
Unfortunately, the weather has not been ideal for our fields and complex. We had pretty extensive damage to many trees around campus and the cold has not allowed our rye grass to establish as well as we had hoped this year. Our staff is working hard preparing the campus for the return of all the kids.
With spring sports starting in the next few weeks, we are currently in need of volunteer coaches in most of our sports. If you have never tried it, I highly recommend you do. Coaching either as a head coach or assisting is a very rewarding and fun way to get involved in your childβs activities. I encourage all parents to reach out to the league commissioners for your son or daughters sport and get in on the fun!
Most of the spring sports will be closing registration soon, so if you are not already signed up, please do so ASAP as space is filling up in many divisions and we want every child to have the opportunity to participate.
Although many of the sports will be holding assessment days, practice and some games in February, we have marked March 4th as the official Spring Opening Day and will have some special events going on that day to celebrate the official welcome back to T&C. Mark the day on your calendar and plan to come join us to cheer on the players and get involved with all thatβs going on at T&C this spring.
