MACTE Accreditation Overview Webinar

Cost: Free
The Accreditation Overview Webinar is for Montessori teacher education programs interested in obtaining information regarding MACTE accreditation. This webinar will provide a general overview of the accreditation process as well as outline all documentation required for compiling a Self-Study. There will be time set aside at the end of the webinar for questions.

MACTE Self-Study Writing Workshop
March 4, 2015
7:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M.
Cost: $40
The Self-Study Writing Workshop is for Montessori teacher education programs that are ready to begin compiling their Self-Study document. It is highly recommended that someone from the program participate in the MACTE Accreditation Overview Webinar prior to enrolling in the Self-Study Writing Webinar. This webinar will focus on Section C of the MACTE 2013 Guide to Accreditation. We will walk through each section of the Self-Study and discuss specific compilation guidelines. This webinar is limited to 12 people. We will offer another Self-Study Writing Workshop Webinar in April 2015.

One day prior to the AMS Annual Conference, this session will include information provided in the Accreditation Overview as well as the Self-Study Writing Workshop listed above.

Also one day prior to the AMS Annual Conference, this session is for individuals interested in participating in MACTE On-Site Verification Visits. We strongly recommend taking the morning Self-Study Writing Workshop session if you have never been on an on-site visit or have not been on an on-site visit where the 2013 Guidelines were used. If you are in the area but are not attending the AMS Conference, you are still welcome to participate.

Note: It is $75 to participate in both the Self-Study Writing and On-Site Verifier sessions.
