Some In-Studio & Online Classes

In-Studio Participation!

We have re-opened only a very few classes for in-studio participation for up to only 4 in a class. Our rooms are no less than 1000 square feet and, along with the instructor, there will only be 5 people in a room. The schedule is updated, currently, to what is being offered.

ALL signing up for in-studio classes MUST follow these strict guidelines or will be asked to leave the studio immediately:
  • Masks must be worn at all times covering nose and mouth and can not be moving around...it must be fixed and not sliding down below your nose at any time. It must be an approved mask and not a scarf.
  • Water bottles must have a straw to drink from under the mask by the chin...or you must go outside to drink. Masks can not be removed for drinking in the studio.
  • All must maintain at minimum a 6 foot distance from others while coming in the studio, moving around the studio, and in classes. All must move into the class as the instructor directs to maintain this space guideline. Our floors are marked with 6-foot markers.
  • No one is to come in with ANY symptoms of being sick. COVID has a long list of symptoms and is very, very contagious. We have many clients, staff, and family of staff with medical conditions and we will not allow anyone with symptoms in the studio: coughing, sneezing, runny nose, upset stomach, rashes, headaches, or if you have taken medications to cover these symptoms or more you must not come in. If you are presenting with symptoms, you will be asked to leave.
  • If you have been exposed to anyone with COVID within the past 14 days, you must not come in to the studio.
  • All must sign in at the door agreeing to all of our COVID policies as we have done all along and agree to a temperature check.

This situation is very tentative and could change at any moment based on state or local guidelines or situations related to the studio and/or staff. Please check your schedule daily on our site to be clear. We will notify all asap if anything must change but will change the online system first and send out emails for cancellations.

  • During the week between Christmas and New Year's, all classes will be only no matter what. We will assess all as we go and decide how to manage January and beyond.
  • We will be posting the full January schedule by December 30th.

Important Zoom Class Reminders: 

  • For those participating via zoom, you must be visible on camera. We can not allow participants coming on with us without a camera option going forward for safety reasons.
  • Be signed up at least 2 hours before the class begins
  • Zoom link will be sent about 1 hour before class begins to your email 
  • Be signed in 15 minutes before class 
  • Ask all in your home to be off the internet for best reception for Zoom classes 
  • You will be on mute during Zoom classes and can send a chat message to the instructor if needed. 
  • For yoga classes, please leave savasana at the beginning or stay on the entire time to avoid being disruptive to the class.

The Healing Powers of Frequency, Sound and Vibration

Join Diana Spiess, Licensed Sound Therapist and Certified Vibrational Sound Master Teacher, for a workshop on all that sound, frequency and vibrational medicine are and how they can help us without much effort at all. Diana has many years of experience with sound therapy on clients from age newborn to 90 and even with animals. She has trained numerous practitioners and is so very passionate about this modality. She will go over extensive information and help anyone wanting to use such practices to assist in healing and balancing energy and finding a state of ease and well-being. Anyone can use such practices and Diana will give many examples as to how and all the why’s and details.

Taoist Medicine: how to incorporate such practices in your life today 

Join Diana Spiess for this very informative workshop on the ancient practices of Taoist medicine and how we can all use such practices today for our own health and wellbeing. Taoism views human beings as microcosms of the cosmos. The focus is on restoring balance/homeostasis and is rooted in the correspondence between nature and human beings. Many quote Lao Tzu, who lived and philosophized many of the Taoist practices and foundations 500 B.C.E, with an appreciation of the simplicity, clarity, and deep understanding of how all is connected. Diana will cover the history, principles, herbs, and all that we can use daily from such a powerful, historical practice of wellness. CEC'

The Energy of Unconditional Love
In the month of February we celebrate the frequency of love. This energy of love keeps all living things connected and continuing. There is not love and hate…there is love and space that is empty of love (which we refer to as hate). I say this often in my classes now and, for many years, I even wondered how this could be and what it really means. Where does all the symbolism come from…like the red rose and the heart for love. We feel the energy of love in our heart space and the heart is red due to blood supply. But we also know the root chakra, Muladhara, matches the frequency of red.  

The are 7 main chakras (energy centers run along our spine). We have way more than 7, but these are the main, most central ones. The heart chakra, the center of the 7, connects our 3 earth/physical energy chakras to our 3 spiritual chakras. The heart chakra resonates at the same frequency as the color green….the same color as our plants. We breathe out what they need to survive and we breathe out what they need to survive. It is not by chance that the same colors are involved or that our lungs are located here, too. If we lived in nature as we are designed to be, we would eliminate in the soil to feed the plants, they grow, we eat them, and so on and so on. This is the essence of unconditional love. Just because without expectation. We would not say to the plants, “I am not going to exhale unless you give me more fruit next year.” 😉 When it comes to the rose, it is one of the most timeless and celebrated flowers thr in all cultures and religions, it’s aroma is so strong and specific for opening the lungs, eases anxiety and depression, and leaves most feeling uplifted and light…like it’s pedals. The strength of the rose with its thorns and the fragile pedals with such power in it’s aroma symbolizes the strength and fragility of life and the impact on our feelings…the driving forces for living. The sense of smell directly affects our limbic system where all feelings are derived and processed. Thus, there is a lot of reasons to see why the rose and all it’s colors is used as a gift for love, friendship, forgiveness, and much more. 

When it comes to the color red, our root chakra, this is all about survival and life-continung necessities. When an infant is born, the sounds he/she make that signal needs is coming from here. Babies do not know language but they make primordial sounds to signal food, pain, sleep needed, fear, and more. This, too, is rooted in pure unconditional love. Raising a baby is not easy. (As if I needed to tell anyone that that has done so. 😁) But, we just do what is needed and feel so deeply from the heart a love that transcends the challenges. So, if we combine the heart center with the root chakra we can start to see why the specific symbols and colors are used to celebrate the frequency of pure, unconditional love. 

All of life is connected through and sustained by unconditional love. We all need to know and remember that we are loved in our present, whole being just like a newborn needs to feel unconditional love for survival. May you all know that you are loved, unconditionally, just the way you are. You are perfectly whole and your presence, here, on this journey at this exact time is important well beyond your human mind’s ability to comprehend.
