Family Discipleship Night
Begins Wednesday, Feb 12

We are looking forward to our Family Discipleship Nights which begin Wed., Feb. 12. 

At 6:30pm, we will have 4 different classes to choose from:

Rooted in Prayer: "Lord, Teach Me to Pray"-A look at biblical principles to deepen our prayer life. Led by Pastor Michael in the Family Walk Classroom.

Spiritual Simplicity: Doing Less, Loving More-Learn how to break free from the "many good and important things" that flood your life. Led by Shawn Ruffino in the Blended Bunch Classroom across from sanctuary.

Marriage & Parenting-Applying biblical principles for life in our families. Led by Barry & Brenda Sink in Connection Point.

Financial Peace-Has debt robbed your freedom and stolen your joy? We want to help you get out of debt and gain control of your finances. Led by Jim Hughes in the Sonshine Classroom. Classes start at 6PM. Cost is $75.

You can register for a class here or at Sign-up Central.  Another easy way to register for both the meals and the classes is to use the calendar function of our app.

Bring your family for a meal each Wednesday from 5:15-6:15pm. 

The first week's menu:
Shake N' Bake Pork Chops
Mac N' Cheese 
Green Beans

Cost is $4/adult, $2/child with a limit of $15/family.

Please pre-register the Monday before each Wednesday meal
at our Event Page or Sign-up Central. 

Night to Shine 2020 ~ Friday, February 7
All volunteers need to arrive by 5PM.

We are excited to once again host Night to Shine, a special needs prom sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation. At the moment we have over 180 individuals with special needs signed up for the event. It is so awesome to see our church come together to Live Love in our community! We are so thankful for willing hearts to serve King Jesus. Don't forget to be in prayer for this event. It's going to be a great night!

Mission Opportunities for This Year

Atlanta, GA
Wed., June 10-Sun., June 14
Cost ~ $375

We will partner with Global Frontier Missions (GMF) to broaden our heart and missions understanding in regard to unreached and refugee populations, interact with refugees in Clarkston, and have a fun interactive experience. 
-Study the biblical basis for missions, the 3D Gospel, God's heart for foreigners, and the state of world missions.
-Sleep, eat, and prayer walk in the community.
-Visit the place of worship of another religion.
-Take part in a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic immersion experience.

Sun., July 26-Fri., July 31
Cost ~ $100

We will partner will Sow Chicago Community Church (SCCC) to make an impact in the city of Chicago, more specifically, Irving Park. SCCC is steadily building community relationships and setting groundwork to grow and be a church that multiplies.

Puerto Rico
Sat., October 10-Friday, October 16
Cost ~ $1,000

We will partner with NAMB Send Relief to serve families who have suffered through devasting hurricanes and earthquakes over the past few years.
-Rebuilding/Repairing roofs
-Brush and Debris Removal
-Ministering and praying with families in the community

Living Pure in an Impure World

Join us on Sunday mornings for Pastor Sammy's new sermon series as we dive down into Scripture and see how we can honor God in this sex-crazed culture. Due to the sensitive nature of this series we will offer Children's Church in both morning services for all K-6th grade students. 

Youth Events
Pie Auction 2020 ~ Sun., Feb. 16

On February 16th, following the evening service, we will have our annual pie auction fund raiser for summer camp! If your student is interested in going to New Camp this summer (June 20-26) and earning some money towards their total cost, then they can work and serve at this year's pie auction! Students will need to arrive at the church at 5:00 pm on February 16th to help set-up for the event. I hope your student is able to join us for camp this year! 
Youth Led Worship
Sun., Feb. 16

During the evening service on February 16th we will have a youth-led service! Our students will be leading the worship, sharing testimonies, taking up offering, praying, and sharing the message from God's Word. Join us on this special evening and support our students!
DNow 2020 ~  March 6-8

Lunch for College/Young Adults

We are taking a group of college/young adults to eat and hangout after the second worship service on February 23rd! If you're interested in joining us please contact Pastor Casey at  casey@ibcbenton.com . I hope you can come and hang out with us! 
Heart for Missions Ladies Brunch
Sat., Feb. 22 ~ 9-11am

Join with our Women on Mission for a nice breakfast and fellowship as Debbie Crawford shares her missionary journey to Mozambique and back. All ladies are invited to attend. Sign-up at Sign-up Central.
