Highlights
2021 State of North Broad
ESI in partnership with North Broad Renaissance, released the 2021 State of North Broad report, which highlights demographics and development within the North Broad census tracts, and the impacts the COVID-19 pandemic had on the corridor. Associate Director, Julia Cohen, has been instrumental as a prime contributor in this project.

PHILADELPHIA250 Legacy Panel
ESI has partnered with PHILADELPHIA250 to collaborate on the "Leave a Legacy Panel" on February 16th.

Staff and Senior Advisor Updates
Gina Lavery recently joined the board of the Philadelphia Real Estate Council
ESI congratulates Senior Advisor Rysheema Dixon for five strong years of public service on Wilmington City Council. She is stepping down to focus on her business as it grows nationally and internationally.
Senior Advisor Maud Lyon is facilitating the board retreat and strategic plan development for the West Philadelphia Cultural Alliance, a.k.a. the Paul Robeson House Museum. She is also facilitating a strategic plan for the Belle Isle Conservancy, a park conservancy in Detroit.
Senior Advisor Joyce Lee has joined the Philaelphia Environmental Justice Advocacy Commission of the Office of Sustainability
RoseAnn Rosenthal led the structuring of the JVS Philadelphia Fund for Women which was also covered in The Inquirer.
Beth Miller is now a Project Manager at Becker & Frondorf
Jamie Bracey Green is the new Co-Chair of the Public Engagement Committee for the Citizen Action Council of the Department of Environmental Protection and was recently named a Fellow of the African Scientific Institute in the area global sustainability. Green's company, Think and Grow Farms, is also building indoor practice farms in North Philadelphia and Chester to increase minority student access to urban agriculture technologies. The learning labs are sponsored in part by a $60,000 infrastructure grant from the Philadelphia Department of Agriculture
