Failure to self-certify by June 1, 2022, will result in non-payment.

The USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) in Delaware is accepting applications from agricultural producers and forest landowners for the Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP). Financial and technical assistance is available to help producers and landowners take conservation efforts to the next level while strengthening their operation.

While USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service accepts CSP applications year-round, Delaware producers and landowners should apply by March 25 to be considered for funding in fiscal year 2022.

2022 DSS Recap

Over 200 attendees came together, virtually and in-person, for the two-day 2022 Delmarva Soil Summit (DSS) at the Wicomico Youth and Civic Center in Salisbury, Md.

Keynote speakers Ray Archuleta, farmer and Understanding Ag founder, Jimmy Emmons, Okla. regenerative farmer, and Erin Martin, gerontologist, provided the “Groundwork for the Future,” highlighting the importance of biomimicry and the connection between soil health and human health.
