The Safety Council of Southwest Louisiana believes that community involvement by our leaders is crucial for fostering relationships between us and the region we serve. By actively engaging with the community, our small executive team not only contributes to local development but also gains valuable insights into the needs of our members. These collaborations build trust and create a positive impact on both economic and social fronts. Ultimately, we believe that fostering community involvement contributes to a sustainable and interconnected community, where prosperity is shared, and collective well-being is prioritized.
We’re proud to report that our team participates on over 20 boards and committees dedicated to improving life in southwest Louisiana, including the Workforce Development Board, Lake Area Industrial Alliance (LAIA) Community Advisory Panel (CAP), SASOL CAP, Coalition for a Better Louisiana, SWLA Chamber Alliance, Association of Reciprocal Safety Councils (ARSC), Society for Human Resource Managers (SHRM), Lake Charles Memorial Hospital (LCMH) Foundation, and many more. We encourage you to reach out and participate, as well!
