Call to Action: Sign to support Hillsborough transportation funds!

Join our Board and Executive Committee and sign onto our letter asking the Florida Legislature to bring home the $570 million dollars collected under the 2018 Hillsborough transportation referendum. This has been proposed by Gov. Ron DeSantis in his state budget, but not yet approved by the Legislature. Your signature could help fund much needed traffic and safety improvements in Westshore and across Hillsborough County. Time is running out – please email Kevin O’Hare at ohare@choosewestshore.com to add your name before the letter is sent on Feb. 7.

Next month is recognized as Florida Bike Month, and we’re excited to kick off our new “Bike Westshore” guided bike tour series powered by Pedal Power Promoters. Join Alliance Staff on a guided bike tour of the Westshore District, highlighting safe corridors to get around the district. Stops include a showcase of Westshore’s bicycle facilities, popular public art destinations, parks, restaurants, and more! Registration is capped at 15 people per ride. Waitlists will be included should space provide. No experience needed other than a desire to have fun!
