2024 highlights. There were many.

“Better technology and larger, more complex cases highlight 2024."

- Attorney Howard Ankin

When I look back on 2024, I am grateful that I am surrounded by some of the best legal minds in Illinois. If someone is injured in this state, they would be best served by calling Ankin Law.

My firm has grown to handle complex and multifaceted cases.

In 2024, we helped a young burn victim with a substantial settlement to build a future. We hired expert witnesses to secure several seven-figure recoveries in serious trucking accidents. We pressed the discovery in a construction site death case, finding a path to recovery. We changed the life of a family with a large settlement after a warehouse work accident. What started as a workers' compensation case for a young truck driver involved in a catastrophic accident grew to include a third-party negligence case and, ultimately, social security disability - all handled

in-house. I'm proud to say these cases are not unusual.

The best experts. Leading technology.

We also made tremendous strides to become a leading injury law firm when it comes to technology. Upgrades in our Salesforce platform, IT department, and phone system allow our attorneys and staff to manage more cases in less time. One important benefit? More time spent where it matters most - with our clients.

Marketing our services in 2024 included several new digital platforms that allowed us to place our advertising messages where more people would consume them wherever and whenever they chose.

Regarding our 2024 numbers, the one that jumps out to me is the record number of client referrals. I'm honored to have that trust placed in Ankin Law and look forward to helping more clients in 2025.

Reception Manager Elizabeth Salgado

Elizabeth Salgado was promoted to manager in less than a year.

She is the Ankin Law point of contact for questions about reception, mail, faxes, supplies, or deliveries. While our reception

team typically does not have the bandwidth to take client

messages, occasionally Elizabeth may escalate repeated

client concerns to you via email or Ring Central message.

In this edition of “Spotlight,” Elizabeth talks about the

importance of family, her career direction, and the unique atmosphere at Ankin Law.

Alicia felt like she was ‘Part of Ankin’ during her case

When Alicia arrived at Ankin Law, we went out of our way to make her feel part of the family. That’s how the client described working with the firm after suffering neck and back injuries in a car accident on I-294.

Attorney Maria Merman and legal assistant Ariana Carrillo got to work quickly, answering Alicia’s questions and getting her treatment for her injuries. See more on Alicia’s work with Ankin Law in this edition of “Client Stories."
