We wish him all the best at his new job in Denver!
Dear CHLT Board Members, Staff, Friends, and Community Members,

After serving two years on the Colorado Headwaters Land Trust Board of Directors, I have decided to move back to Denver for a new job. It has truly been a rewarding experience. During my tenure, CHLT generated its largest revenue ever at this past year's Land, Lunch & Lager fundraiser. I am also proud to have served as the land trust's raffle manager - we sold all 120 raffle tickets!

These fundraising successes boosted CHLT's conservation work. It has been exciting to receive additional funding from the Open Lands, Rivers, and Trails Fund - a CHLT initiative. These funds helped reduce the costs of easement due diligence for landowners seeking conservation easements. I will be excited to hear about the closing of a pending conservation easement in west Grand County.

Most importantly, I want to thank my fellow board members, the CHLT staff, community members, and supporters because our conservation efforts would not be possible without your help. I consider you all my good friends.

CHLT is in a strong position and I can't wait to hear about new easements in the future. I have a feeling 2019 will be a great year for land stewardship in Colorado with the newly created Division of Conservation.

Farewell and keep up the great work! I plan to visit Grand County often to enjoy the beautiful landscapes we all love.

Andrew Moore
