Waveny Care Center Awarded CMS 5-Star Rating
Waveny LifeCare Network's Care Center has again been honored by the federal CMS ranking system as being a 5-Star facility (its highest ranking) in every measurable category, from nurse staffing levels to the highest quality clinical metrics and outcomes.
"It has always been, and will continue to be, a team effort with families, staff, physicians, and nurses working collaboratively," said President & CEO Russ Barksdale. "I couldn't be more proud of our organization for continuing to provide this high level of service."
CMS (Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services) created the Five-Star Quality Rating System to help consumers, their families, and caregivers compare nursing homes more easily and to help identify areas about which you may want to ask questions. Nursing homes with 5 stars are considered to have much above average quality and nursing homes with 1 star are considered to have quality much below average.
