Our vision is to have a community where no kittens are born wild on the street, no cat  capable of living in a home is lacking one, and no feral cats are wanting for food, water,  and appropriate care and concern.
Note From Sherry Derdak, President
Our Newsletters will come out towards the end of each month, sharing news about what we've done and what we plan to do. We'd like to thank all of you for what you do every day to make the lives of outside cats better. This is a data-driven business so we wanted to share updated numbers from last year:
We ARE making a difference - thanks to you, our volunteers and supporters! Also many thanks to Laura Carver for producing this Newsletter.

Surgery Fundraiser

Thanks to the generosity of many of our supporters and volunteers, we have raised almost all of our $2,550 fundraising goal for our five cats with severe conjunctivitis! Surgeries have been scheduled this week for some of the kittens and we will keep you updated on their condition.

These cats were found during a mass trapping and are safe in SAFCC foster homes awaiting surgery that will ease their discomfort and make them more adoptable! If you can donate any amount, please consider doing so. Please share and let your cat-loving friends know how they can help, too!

Our Cat Mobile Can Help With Your Mass Trapping Project.

Have a large trapping project you'd like to do all at once? Our cat mobile is at your service! SAFCC will deliver the traps you need, pick up and transport to and from clinic, and return to you for recovery. You will need to provide the trap covers and the surgery fees. These would be for projects of 10 or more. EMAIL for more info!
Did You Know?

Most clinics will only accept ferals in live traps that are CAT size (L30"xW9xH11") and will not accept cats in small squirrel traps or over-sized raccoon or dog traps? Please check with each clinic to see what they require. SAFCC is a
TRUCATCH distributor and has traps for loan or for sale at $70. Please EMAIL  if you're interested in a trap.
Help SAFCC Help Our Colony Feeders

SAFCC is accepting Purina Weight Circles for our colony feeders. If you currently buy Purina brand cat food like Purina Cat Chow, Purina One, or Kibbles 'n Bits, you can send us your Purina weight circles and our volunteer colony feeders will collect these circles and apply for vouchers to offset their colony food costs. For information, please email Barbara HERE or call/text at (256) 201-0338. Circles will also be accepted at our upcoming Meet & Greet in March.
