Barbell Rehab Method

We are excited to offer the Barbell Rehab Method, a specialized program designed to assist athletes in recovery, injury prevention, and performance optimization through barbell-specific rehabilitation and training techniques!

Our clinicians employ a systematic framework to help individuals safely and effectively continue barbell strength training, even when experiencing discomfort during exercises like squats, deadlifts, bench presses, or overhead lifts.

Instead of advising clients to cease these activities, the program focuses on modifying exercises and incorporating accessory work to build a solid foundation for long-term training success.

As a reminder, The 2025 CrossFit Open Begins February 27th!

Back and Neck Pain and a Root Cause - Posture

Postural Exercises

Check out these quick PT tips on how you can start improving your posture today!

Improving posture is essential for maintaining overall health and preventing a range of musculoskeletal issues.

Poor posture can lead to chronic pain in the neck, back, and shoulders, as well as contribute to headaches, reduced flexibility, and even breathing difficulties.

Physical therapy plays a vital role in addressing postural imbalances by identifying the root causes, such as muscle weakness, tightness, or poor movement patterns. Through personalized exercise programs, manual therapy, and education on proper body mechanics, physical therapists help individuals develop the strength, flexibility, and awareness needed to achieve and maintain optimal posture!

Blog: The Benefits of Physical Therapy

During Pregnancy

Physical therapy during pregnancy offers numerous benefits to support expectant mothers through the physical challenges of this period.

It effectively alleviates common pregnancy-related discomforts such as back pain, pelvic discomfort, and sciatica by employing manual therapy, targeted stretches, and safe exercises to strengthen supporting muscles and enhance alignment.

Additionally, prenatal physical therapy focuses on improving pelvic floor function, which can reduce the risk of urinary incontinence during and after pregnancy, enhance core stability, and facilitate better muscle control during labor.

Furthermore, physical therapy enhances postural alignment and body mechanics, addressing imbalances caused by the shifting center of gravity during pregnancy.

Physical therapy prepares the body for childbirth by increasing flexibility, endurance, and strength, and incorporates techniques like controlled breathing and relaxation exercises to aid the birthing process.
