Volunteer Opportunity
Assist with a waste audit

Warm Springs Consulting (WSC)  is supporting seven counties in southern Idaho by conducting a solid waste audit at Milner Butte landfill. Milner Butte landfill is where all garbage from Blaine County is disposed. The results of this audit will support the counties in diverting or reducing landfill waste.

WSC is looking for volunteers or students who would like to gain sustainability experience and be trained in conducting waste audits. Volunteers will head down to Twin Falls March 2nd-5th. WSC is hoping to finish the audit in two days, but will plan for four. They will provide food, transportation and lodging as well as training and all necessary protective equipment.

This is a great opportunity for those interested in sustainability to get hands on experience! For those interested, they must attend a 1-hour webinar in late February.
