Integrative Healthcare Modalities (IHM), like Healing Touch, are widely recognized for their myriad benefits. IHM reduces stress and anxiety, decreases pain and symptoms, and promotes well-being.

Healing Touch is a non-invasive relaxing energy therapy that balances the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of health and well-being. Healing Touch therapy provides comfort, and reduces pain, anxiety, depression and other symptoms for terminally ill patients. It also promotes relaxation and enhances quality of life.

Generous funding for Healing Touch is provided by The Balm Foundation.
#campisntcancelled...Support Camp Good Grief 2022
Due to the utmost concern for donor safety, the 2022 Valentine Salon Committee, led by chairpersons Kim Kramer, Ellen Lowey and Shari Turner, have cancelled its annual NYC luncheon and pivoted to a call-to-action campaign to benefit Camp Good Grief 2022.

Record numbers of children and teens need professional grief therapy to navigate the unprecedented loss resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic. With your support, we can give them the healing power of Camp Good Grief 2022.
Soothing Grief with the Sounds of Healing
Equine Therapy Bereavement participants were recently introduced to sound healing. The Sound Healers of Amity Harbor used the power of sound, singing bowls and gongs to heal, create feelings of peace, and cultivate energy flow and balance.

One participant described this experience as feeling a sense of relief at how emotionally and physically light they felt, welcoming ease from the normal heaviness of grief.

Our bereavement care professionals are constantly advocating for education and research to further knowledge about grief and loss and identify the most effective interventions to facilitate healthy coping using innovative therapeutics like sound healing.
