Rx Rockstar of the Month

Congratulations to our February Rx Rockstar, Abbi!

Abbi, often known as Lil’ Abbi around the pharmacy, has been part of the Bryant Family Pharmacy team for six years. When she’s not at work, she enjoys reading and shopping, and she’s currently getting ready for one of life’s biggest adventures — she’s expecting identical twins!

Abbi’s favorite part about working at BFP is “working with such great people who become like family,” and anyone who knows her knows she brings that same warmth and positivity to our team every day. We’re so thankful for all that Abbi does and can’t wait to celebrate this exciting season with her.

🧠 Know Your Numbers: What Your Blood Pressure Reading Means

Blood pressure isn’t just a pair of numbers - it tells a story about how hard your heart is working and how healthy your arteries are. A typical reading looks like 120/80 mm Hg, where:

Systolic (top number) measures pressure when your heart beats.

Diastolic (bottom number) measures pressure when your heart relaxes between beats.

Understanding your reading categories helps you track heart health:

  • Normal: Less than 120/80
  • Elevated: 120–129 and less than 80
  • Stage 1 High Blood Pressure: 130–139 or 80–89
  • Stage 2 High Blood Pressure: 140 or higher or 90 or higher
  • Hypertensive Crisis: Higher than 180/120 (seek urgent care)

Community Connected

We loved spending the evening celebrating local businesses at the Bryant Chamber of Commerce Banquet. As last year’s Business of the Year, it was especially meaningful to reconnect with fellow community leaders and continue cheering on the incredible growth happening right here in Bryant. We’re grateful to be part of such a supportive and thriving local community.
