Congratulations to Tiffin Fire Chief Rob Chappell and the Tiffin Fire/Rescue Division on celebrating their 130th anniversary in operation!
Tiffin's volunteer fire company originated in 1843, employing bucket brigades and horse-drawn wagons to combat fires. By the 1870s, it expanded to five fire and engine companies along with two hook and ladder companies across five wards, comprising 120-130 volunteers.
Presently, the Tiffin Fire/Rescue Division consists of 34 firefighters, 2 chief officers, and an administrative assistant, responding to approximately 3,700 service calls annually. Continuous training ensures the delivery of top-notch fire response and EMS care to the community. For more pictures of the Ribbon Cutting, click here.

We can't think of a better way to start off our 2024 Power Hour Series than with a packed house! Last month we heard from Stephen Knowlton and our partners at Spire about Artificial Intelligence.
This technology and tool is still brand new to many people and is constantly evolving. We are happy to provide professional and personal development about topics that matter and impact our members. Thank you to Spire for the insights and awesome presentation!
We also want to thank one of our new members, Convoy Road Coffee Roasters, for setting up a delicious coffee bar for all to enjoy and to North Central Ohio Educational Service Center for being gracious hosts. Thank you to all who attended, we can't wait to see the skills you learned put into action!

The Chamber in partnership with Tiffin-Seneca United Way held the first meeting of the newly formed Nonprofit Leadership Alliance today. The room was full of energy as we work as a collective group to promote and support the nonprofit organizations and volunteers in our community.
A special thank you to Mercy Health - Tiffin for allowing us to use the space and to Darlene Mack with The Resiliency Edge for facilitating this wonderful community discussion.
