MFA Longevity Market Report
News and insights from thought leaders in the longevity economy

February 2026

Dear friends and colleagues,

As the first boomers turn 80, we will see a sprint of innovative technology-based solutions – including those focused on aging in place, wellness, and encore careers. My friend John Wider, former executive of ASI at AARP, painted this watercolor as part of his encore career - a timely painting as we enter the year of the horse!

As we gear up for the 23rd What's Next Longevity Venture Summit in June, we are closely tracking new developments in the field – including new guidance from the FDA on low-risk devices and new federally-funded innovation opportunities. We expect 300 investors, entrepreneurs, clinicians, and partners from home care, health care, and senior living to join us. We will have important boot camps that showcase the latest strategies around AI and go-to-market strategies, and marketing and public relations. Apply today for the Business Plan Competition or nominate someone for the John Hopper Leadership Award. Also, reach out to the MFA team if you are interested in sponsoring, exhibiting, or being a distribution partner.

Warmly,

Mary
