FREE COMMUNITY WORKSHOP

We are thrilled to be participating in an international art exchange for peace. The public is invited for a fun afternoon of creativity and camaraderie on Sunday, March 6, from 1 pm - 4 pm at the Arts Center in the Koch Courtyard.

The 2022 Global Art Project for Peace is an international art exchange that connects people around the world who choose to create and share a vision of global peace.

Local artist, Brecia Kralovic-Logan, will lead this community event. Participants will create a colorful peace banner representing our Carpinteria community vision of peace. Using the color palette of the beach, participants will dye silk fabric strips and decorate them with messages of peace. Each strip will be added to a collective art banner that will be displayed at the arts center.

Rincon Summer!

"I made this painting two years before the pandemic during a time when I lived just up the 150 from Rincon. It was such an upbeat summer and I was inspired one Saturday afternoon to paint the scene of all the dudes and babes and doggos enjoying the summer vibes on a mellow fun day at Rincon”. SOLD for $3,000
