February 2025

February is Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month, a time to raise awareness about unhealthy relationships and empower teens with the knowledge to recognize and prevent dating violence. Our latest blog, "How Teens Can Support Friends Experiencing Dating Violence," explores the warning signs of abuse, ways to support teens in unsafe relationships, and resources available for help. With 1 in 12 teens experiencing physical dating violence and 1 in 10 facing sexual violence, this issue is more common than many realize.

Understanding the dynamics of teen relationships is essential in creating a culture of safety and respect. Whether you're a parent, teacher, or mentor, you can play a vital role in providing guidance and support. Read our latest blog to learn how you can help promote healthy relationships among teens.

This past Thursday, we were honored to be the recipient of a Galentine’s Day fundraising event at Hopkins Brewing Co. Thanks to the generosity of our community, doubling the impact from last year, we received over $2,000 in donations—including gift cards, cash, and in-kind contributions. Your support helps provide vital resources to survivors, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who made this event such a success!

We also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated in the Kendra Scott Gives Back event. Your purchases and support directly impact the individuals and families we serve, helping them find safety, stability, and hope.

It’s because of our amazing community that we can continue this important work. Thank you for standing with us and for survivors!

Save the date! Sponsorships are now available for our Annual Breakfast Fundraiser! Join us on Thursday, May 15, 2025, to stand against domestic violence and support our cause. Our Keynote speaker is survivor Ginette Bott, President & CEO of Utah Food Bank.
