Chris, our Litter Prevention and Education Coordinator, recently spoke at the Rotary Club of Lehigh Acres, sharing the mission of Keep Lee County Beautiful and ways community members can get involved. He also highlighted his plans to expand KLCB’s litter prevention and education efforts in the Lehigh Acres area, strengthening local engagement and impact.

Chris represented Keep Lee County Beautiful at the Wings Over Water Festival, hosted by the Lehigh Acres Municipal Services Improvement District, where he connected with community members and shared information about KLCB’s environmental programs.

Jenn, our Education Specialist, enjoyed an engaging visit to Trafalgar Elementary, where she talked with the 4th Grade Ecology Club and the entire 5th grade about protecting the environment and why recycling matters. Email Jenn@klcb.org to schedule her at your school.

We attended the Charitable Foundation of the Islands Volunteer Expo, where we enjoyed connecting with community members at our table themed “Building a Cleaner Future.” Thank you to the foundation for organizing this wonderful event and for bringing local organizations and volunteers together.

Our Education Specialist had a fantastic time at STEM Night at Orangewood Elementary School, where she engaged students and families with hands-on environmental education and shared fun ways to protect our planet.
