Why you should by Image Products at your Salon/Spa
Image Skincare does not sell products directly or permit the resale of our products on Target/Walmart.com. All products sold through this website are unauthorized and diverted product. Walmart.com in the past few years has begun to change the purpose of their website. In 2016 they purchased Jet.com, a competitor of AMAZON.com and have since begun a very strong strategy to begin to target AMAZON shoppers by significantly pushing the sale of all products not available in their stores or direct from them at severely reduced prices through vendor resellers.
This strategy is not limited to IMAGE Skincare but all beauty, skin care and hair care products that do not have a direct relationship with the website. Walmart.com has strengthened their ecommerce team to target prestige beauty business specifically, as this category of products is a rapidly growing in today’s market place as consumers truly begin to care about overall health and wellness. They are working hard to become a strong competitor of AMAZON who is the current ecommerce leader.
This is not the Target/Walmart.com we are all familiar with from years past, associated with Wal-Mart Stores, this is their way to capitalize on their existing infrastructure and the acquisition of Jet.com website. Walmart.com does not purchase directly from Image Skincare. All products for sale are being shipped and sold through a third party vendor who is diverting our professional brand and selling at lower than MSRP. This means the products found on the website are from unknown sources to IMAGE Skincare as the products have been bought and sold on the grey market.
The products could be expired, it could be our packaging but not our product, the product could have been tampered with, sold multiple times over, kept in poor conditions etc., all which effects the products efficacy and could cause severe reactions and much more. People who purchase products from them are buying unsafe products and are taking a major risk.
