Brenda Clement is the Director of HousingWorks RI at Roger Williams University. Housing Works serves a clearinghouse of information about housing in Rhode Island. It releases a yearly factbook and other research to promote dialogue among policy makers about the importance of safe and affordable housing for our state’s economic future and for residents’ well-being.  She will discuss a wide range of affordable options to meet seniors’ needs and preferences to allow them to safely age in the community. Betsy Sherry, BSN, M.Ed., is a registered nurse with 30 years of experience in community health, designing and implementing school health programs. In the difficult course of trying to assist her declining parents, Betsy and her sister searched for easy-to-use, comprehensive resource information, but were unable to find it. They have created a resource guide to provide others with the help they need for their declining parents.
