It's that time of the year again for our Annual High School Voter Registration Challenge!
Supervisor Wilcox and representatives from the Supervisor of Elections office are visiting high schools in Marion County to educate students on the importance of voting and register eligible students to vote.
So far we have visited Trinity Catholic, North Marion, and West Port High. Next stops are Forest, Vanguard, Belleview, Dunnellon and Lake Weir High.
The winner will be determined by the number of new valid voter registrations based on the percentage of eligible students enrolled in the school and will receive a traveling trophy and name on a plaque displayed in our office.
