Will you be my valentine?

We hope this month you focus on showing how much you appreciate and love those important people in your life. You never know how much little gestures can impact someone's day.

Did you know we have a Youtube Channel?

In our efforts to provide you with well-rounded care, we keep our Youtube channel up to date with videos that will teach, entertain, and keep you in the loop with the happenings of the clinic. We are always looking for ways to help you connect with our therapists and give you insight into our clinic. We want you to be a part of our family in as many ways as possible and grow your knowledge of all things physical therapy.

Oh, Grate!

At the beginning of the year, we set lofty goals of fitness, health, and habits. Sometimes these goals take time away from your ability to feed your family home-cooked meals. We want to remind you The Smith Clinic has casseroles available to make your life easier. They come frozen with heating instructions and taste delicious. Our clinic strives to provide you with the resources for you to live more intentionally and we hope these casseroles make mealtime less stressful. Whether you are a mom with kids, a wife needing to feed her husband, or a friend dropping off food to a loved one these meals are for you!

Take a look at the menu below to see what you want to pick up the next time you need a quick, healthy meal.

Have you met Meg Bolton?

In the last year, we have added several new members of our Smith Clinic family. Meg Bolton came to us during the mist of quarantine and couldn't have been a bigger blessing. She is full of knowledge and has a sweet spirit with her patients, always making sure they are progressing in their treatment. We are so proud to have her on our team and want you to utilize her physical therapy talents!

Physical Therapy Tip

  1. Make sure you strengthen and stretch your hips. The older we get, the more we use hip power while walking as opposed to ankle power with younger adults.
  2. Don't stop moving! Studies show the people who move around the most tend to live longer.
  3. When getting out of bed, try lying on your side first then throwing your legs over the side of the bed. This way, gravity can help leverage your upper body without straining your spine.
