COMMENTS FROM THE EDITOR:

Take a look at this month's stats. The average list price and sales price are slightly higher than in December and days on market is less. Keep this in mind when you're considering selling and buying. Also note that fewer homes are listed now than there were in December and fewer sold. What does this all mean? In my opinion, with interest rates currently below 6%, the market is holding strong. It's not time to sit back and wait to see what is going to change. Now is the time to take action towards home ownership if you're renting or it's still a great time to sell because we're still in low supply of homes for buyers.

What has you concerned? I will explain the benefits to you as a buyer and a seller in today's market with no obligation on your part. With over 12 years in real estate, having gone through the aftermath of 2008 and the mayhem in 2021, I'm positive I can help you with making the right decisions at the right time with your specific goals in mind. If it isn't the right time for you, I'll tell you that too. Call or connect by clicking on "Let's Talk".

Untapped Potential in Morocco
Morocco is characterized by beautiful beaches, comfortable weather, delicious cuisine, and a strong economy. Unlike other North African countries, Morocco has remained stable with low crime rates. In an effort to attract more tourism, the country is investing in improving infrastructure, including roadways and high-speed train.

Travel to Morocco is easy, with direct flights from New York, Boston, Washington, and Miami. It also provides easy access to Europe, with a flight to Portugal coming in at just over an hour and a half.

According to moroccoworldnews.com, with its depressed property values and increasing tourism, Morocco is ideal for short- and long-term rentals, as well as retirement properties.

If you are interesting in investing in Morocco, let me know and I can help you find an expert in the area.
THIS MONTH'S RECIPE
Nutella Crepes
This quick and easy recipe is perfect for a Valentine's Day breakfast-in-bed treat! The batter is made completely in the blender and the toppings can be substituted for your favorites!

Surprise your sweetie with this treat this Valentine's Day!
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs
1/2 cup whole milk
1/2 cup water
2 tbsp butter (melted)
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup berries
1 cup Nutella
1/2 tbsp confectioner's sugar
  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour and eggs. Add in milk, water, melted butter, and salt, and stir to combine.
  2. Pour the batter into a blender. Blend for 1 minute until smooth.
  3. Lightly grease a non-stick skillet and heat over medium heat. Scoop 1/4 cup of batter on the pan. Quickly tilt the pan in a circular motion to spread the batter evenly on the surface of the pan.
  4. Cook the crepe for 2 minutes, or until it turns to a light golden brown colour. Carefully loosen with a spatula and flip over. Cook on the other side for another 1-2 minutes, until crepe is golden brown on that side too.
  5. Slide the crepe out of the pan and onto a plate. Repeat above steps with remaining batter.
  6. For each crepe, spread berries on half of the crepe and drizzle with Nutella on top. Fold the crepe into quarters and drizzle extra Nutella on top. Sprinkle some icing sugar on top, if desired.
  7. Serve immediately.
