Fab 50 Fellowship

Quilt Club -The Quilt Club is currently taking a break. Questions:
First Impressions - We know that first impressions are important and Spirit Alive wants to welcome ALL people and let nothing get in the way of that. Everything from Greeters to Ushers to Information Table to following up with guests...this team is a BIG part of welcoming God's people on Sunday morning. There are many tasks to be accomplished, but even if you simply want to be a friendly face and a welcoming smile, then let us know and join the 1st Impressions effort!
Care Team -
A big part of our walk with God is caring for each other. The Care Team visits members in their homes, the hospital and wherever they need us to offer spiritual support, prayer and communion. Are you interested in learning how to care for others in a Christian Community in this way? Maybe God is calling you to this ministry but you don't know how to start. Join US! Lenten Bible Study
Spirit Alive is invited to join St. Paul's Thursday Morning Exchange small group in reading and discussing the pamphlet "People of the Passion" by Cathy Randall. They will meet at 10:30 a.m. on February 1st, and 15th, March 1st and

Ash Wednesday Worship Service
Spirit Alive and St. Paul's will hold a joint worship service on Ash Wednesday, February 14 at 7:00 p.m.

Soup Suppers During Lent
St. Paul's Evangelism Team is planning soup suppers at 5:30 pm before each Wednesday Lent Service. Spirit Alive will again host the last soup supper on March 21. A sign up sheet is being passed around.

ELCA Outreach Center Collection
For the month of February, the ELCA Outreach Center is collecting toothpaste and toothbrushes. There will be a box in the Narthex for collecting these items.

Use of the Building and SNOW
Winter is here!! Olga is in contact with the people that plow the church parking lot. She lets them know when the building is being used and when it is necessary for them to plow or not to plow. It is very important that Olga be informed of Spirit Alive's schedule to use the building.

Family Fun Activities
The members of St. Paul's invite us to join them for Family Fun. Each month is a new activity and a great way to meet new friends. Following are the next two activities. If you have any questions, please call the office at St. Paul's: 262-694-3101.

Women's Retreat
The women of Spirit Alive are invited to join St. Paul's Women's Retreat at Siena On the Lake-Racine (5641 Erie Street) on February 9-11, 2018. The cost is $175.00. A $45.00 deposit due at sign up.
