A Message from the Mayor

February is Black History Month. I invite you to join myself and Members of Council to come and celebrate Black History Month on Tuesday, February 20 from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. at Vaughan City Hall.


Join us this Sunday, February 11 for the 34th annual award-winning Vaughan Celebrates Winterfest! Join in on the free, family-friendly winter celebration from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Vellore Village Community Centre.


I look forward to seeing you at the many events taking place in Vaughan this month!

We hosted the second annual Mayor and Council New Year’s Levee with lots of activities, family-friendly entertainment and a complimentary breakfast. Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate the start of 2024. Wishing you and your loved ones a happy new year!

 

The City hosted its second annual Tamil Heritage Month and Thai Pongal celebration at Vaughan City Hall, which included a candle-lighting ceremony, traditional music and dance performances. Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate.
