Dear friends of The CARE Center,
As we close out the short month of February, we are grateful for the many ways our community continues to show up for one another. We are also praying for a little more sunshine, fresh greenery, and the first signs of spring to brighten these days and remind us that new growth is always on the way.
First things first, there is still time to join us for Leadership Day this Thursday, February 26th, from 12–2 PM at The CARE Center Ministry Building. This powerful, no-cost experience is designed to equip our neighbors with practical tools, meaningful connections, and real-world resources that support long-term self-sufficiency. We believe in empowering individuals and families to take confident steps forward, and Leadership Day is one way we put that belief into action. We would truly love to see you there.

Looking ahead to March, our New Hope Community Learning Center students are preparing for their production of Disney Jr’s Frozen on March 9th and 10th at 6:00 PM. Admission is free, and we hope you will come out to support these talented students as they share all they have worked so hard to accomplish. Finally, we also continue to offer FREE tax preparation services in partnership with AARP through April 15th for qualifying individuals and families. Appointments are limited, so be sure to reserve your spot soon. More details below.
As we also look ahead to the warmer months, our team is already busy preparing for summer camps and the upcoming Summer Snack Drive (details below). Be sure to watch our social media pages in the coming weeks for additional opportunities to serve. We may have yard sale pickups, gardening volunteer days, and more.
