World Cancer Day

World Cancer Day held every 4 February is the global uniting initiative led by the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC).

This year's World Cancer Day's theme, “Close the Care Gap”, is about providing the momentum to fuel fairness. We will mobilize friends, family, coworkers and communities because we know that united, we are stronger.

Half the world’s population lacks access to the full range of essential health services. When it comes to cancer, many of us are denied basic care, despite the fact that we live in a time of awe-inspiring advancements in cancer prevention, diagnosis and treatment.

Welcome Natasha, our new Vice Chair of the Board. She is taking a leadership position following sitting on the board for a year.

Recognized as a dynamic and motivated partnerships,

marketing/communications, business development, and events executive, Natasha

has more than 20 years of experience in creating, directing and executing marketing and sales programs that drive revenue and increase brand visibility for international, national and local corporate and non-profit organizations. She is passionate about promoting her community.
