Hopewell/Prince George One of First Ten Communities Selected for Drive 2.0
Hopewell/Prince George announced that they have been selected to participate in the DRIVE 2.0 Statewide Tourism Plan implementation, which focuses on tourism promotion and product development. The DRIVE 2.0 process, facilitated by Virginia Tourism Corporation (VTC), equips communities across the state with the tools they need to succeed in an overly competitive travel and tourism market. Hopewell/Prince George is one of 30 communities who will complete the DRIVE 2.0 program.

Our Tri-Cities Young Professionals group is back this month on Tuesday, Feb 23rd from 3-4PM! We are trying a new time slot for those that struggle to make meetings after hours due to life and stuff. New Offerings at Haley's Honey Meadery
Haley's Honey Meadery has added dessert and mead pairings to their menu. They are also bringing live music back starting February 19th.

Breez-In Moves into new HQ
Breez-In Associates has moved into a brand new headquarters building in Prince George at 4595 Sandesara Dr. The new facility is a massive upgrade and more space for the business team and administrative staff. One of their facilities, Car Wash City on Oaklawn Blvd also recently had a grand reopening.

A New Chapter for Swift Creek Mill Theatre
Swift Creek Mill Theatre has announced that it is debt free for the first time in its history as a not-for-profit theatre organization.

According to Managing Director Steven Koehler, the achievement is a result of focused and careful management of resources and the generosity of an anonymous benefactor who absorbed a portion of its debt.

DOORDASH AND VRLTA PARTNER TO PROVIDE $450,000 IN FUNDS FOR VIRGINIA RESTAURANTS AND OFFER NEW BENEFITS TO VRLTA MEMBERS
DoorDash today announced a new $450,000 grant program for Virginia restaurants in partnership with the Virginia Restaurant, Lodging & Travel Association (VRLTA). The contribution is part of DoorDash's $200 million, 5-year Main Street Strong Pledge, which includes a $10 million effort to help restaurants in select cities across the United States and Canada.
