New Year, New Library Cards!
Due to changes in the Utah State Library's requirements to access services, the Grand County Public Library will be issuing new library cards to all patrons in 2020.

Kick off the new year with a visit to the library to to pick up your new FREE library card. Library cards provide amazing access to books, movies, magazines, audiobooks, mobile devices, music, language learning, downloadables, and SO MUCH MORE!
Old library cards will not work after March 31, 2020. Please contact the library if you have questions or need assistance. 435-259-1111.
KZMU Radio Book Club
We will be on air with Back of Beyond Books at 5 PM on Monday, February 3rd for KZMU's monthly Radio Book Club.

We'll discuss what we're reading, bestsellers, and upcoming local literary events.

The Moab Music Festival and Grand County Public Library present The Story of Babar: The Little Elephant.
This classic story is arranged for piano (played by Michael Barrett) and narrated by singers Adrian Rosas and Devony Smith, presented alongside projected illustrations of this beloved book.
Timely arrival is recommended as the entire program is under 20 minutes in length.

Special Saturday Storytime

Utah Storyteller Julie Moss, a member of National Storytelling Network, Rocky Mountain Storytelling, and Tellers of Tales will present stories and songs. Julie has been telling stories professionally for 30 years and has shared stories with all ages across the United States as well as in China.

Leap Into Science - Wind Family Workshop

The wind workshop will feature stories and fun activities that will allow participants to act as scientists as they learn about the wind and how it can be measured. For families with children ages 3-10. In partnership with Franklin Institute Science Museum.
Code Club

Big News! Youth Code Clubs are starting @ your library in February .

If you want your kids (8-18 years old) to learn important tech skills and have fun along the way, please have them apply now! They’ll work on learning how to make websites, video games, apps, animations, and more!
The deadline to apply is Monday, February 10th.

Kids Cafe @ Your Library
Free for all children up to 18 years old

Serving after school Monday - Friday
from 3:30 to 4:30 PM

Serving lunch on Saturdays and Non-School Weekdays from 12:00 to 1:00 PM
STILL NEEDED: Kids Cafe volunteers for afternoons!
Kids Cafe volunteers will partner with library staff and spend approximately 1.5 hours (3:15 - 4:45 PM) per day setting up, serving, and cleaning up. We would prefer volunteers who can make at least a three-month, one-day-per-week time commitment to the program. Volunteers need to be willing to complete a background check. Volunteers will not be preparing any food and a food handlers permit is NOT required.
