Framingham Beat

New Name, New Format, Same Time Slot

BEYOND THE BEAT

The Framingham Beat is now Beyond the Beat

This new format of Beyond the Beat takes viewers deeper into Framingham community event coverage with longer profiles and stories of the community organizations and events occurring throughout Framingham. The new format, sans anchors, also provides event coverage in a more timely manner, allowing audiences to enjoy the events as stand-alone segments on AFTV shortly after they are recorded. Viewers can also watch all the segments together as one episode, Monday thru Friday at 7pm and 7am.

Meet Our Newest Interns!

Trenton Saleeba

Meet Trenton! Trenton is a Junior at Framingham State University. He currently majors in Communication Arts with a concentration in Integrated Visual Media. Originally from Rehoboth, Trenton aspires to obtain a job in video production after he graduates.

Ryan Boyd

Meet Ryan! Ryan is from Marlborough, MA and graduated high school in 2018. In his free time Ryan loves to create videos and put them on his youtube channel.

New Workshop

Looking to promote your program on social media and don't know where to start? Access Framingham has you covered! We will be offering a Social Media Workshop so members can learn how to effectively promote their content. This workshop will take place in March, so stay tuned for the date!

Studio B Renovation - Update

The equipment has arrived and is currently being installed. Training workshops will be offered to members soon ! The goal is to provide a turn-key operation for members to have the ability to record their programs in a more efficient and timely manner.

New equipment includes a palette of virtual production sets, three new voice activated remote control cameras, and a Broadcast Pix Roadie RX with voice-activated switching!

New Website

Access Framingham's new website will launch on February 25th!

New website features will allow members to log into the website with a username to sign-up for workshops, reserve studio time, field equipment and edit bays. Website visitors can easily find their favorite programs with the Video on Demand (VOD) and Program Schedule pages and keep up with all the events and activities of AFTV.
