On January 13th the Community Foundation had our grant reception at Ballou Recreation Center where we awarded $626,000 to 51 nonprofit organizations in Danville, Pittsylvania and Caswell County!
Applications are being accepted for two Education Funds
The Community Foundation is currently accepting applications for two education funds. The Keokee Fund and the Autism Education Fund. Applications are available on our website and are due on March 6, 2015.
The Community Foundation awarded three grants in Halifax County from the Fund for Halifax County and the South Boston Medical Fund! The Amreican Red Cross, Triangle Volunteer Fire Department, and Halifax Emergency Services were grant recipients at the check presentation at the American Red Cross on January 22nd.
