A Message from the Mayor

January was a busy month for Council! We had a series of wonderful community events and completed public hearings for our proposed city budget.

I have also been hearing from residents regarding their concerns about the increase in auto-theft in Vaughan and across York Region. I have spoken to Canada's Minister of Public Safety and have written letters to both him and Prime Minister Trudeau regarding these concerns. I am committed to working with all levels of government to to ensure that Vaughan remains safe.

As always, if you ever need anything from my office, please do not hesitate to reach out.
