A Little About Maria:

"I grew up in Utica, New York, so I am very familiar with the area and the programs that serve the community. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology in May 2025. During the summers of 2022, 2023, and 2025, I worked with the Oneida County Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP), where I gained firsthand experience with how the program operates and saw the meaningful impact it can have on young people. I am excited to be here to help ensure that young people have access to employment opportunities."
