We Need Your Voice to Help Stop Factory Farming in MI
2024 is a pivotal year for factory farming in Michigan. If we don't make our voices heard now, there will be an explosion of new factory farms in Michigan. Please contact the sponsors of SB 275 to tell them you don't want the inclusion of CAFO-derived manure biogas as a qualifying fuel under a state Clean Fuels Standard because Michigan residents don’t want false climate solutions, and we don’t want an explosion of new and larger factory farms in Michigan. Read Our Letter to Legislators and then Contact Bill Sponsors. Also, join us for our Virtual Open House Lobbying Party on Feb 7 (details above) and Register for the Feb 12 Virtual Meeting.

Help Michigan Pass Queenie's Law
HB 4849, known as Queenie’s Law, would outlaw painful experiments on dogs at Michigan’s taxpayer-funded institutions – like those conducted at Wayne State University. The bill was just heard by the House Agriculture Committee, but it needs your help to move it forward! Please take a few seconds to email and call your state representative today. If you live in State House District 16 it is especially important that Rep. Stephanie Young hears from you.
