Healthy Watersheds. Healthy Communities.

Affordable trees that support healthy lakes, rivers, and wildlife habitat.
The Saskatchewan Tree for Life Program was started in 2021 to encourage planting trees to support healthy watersheds across the province. To date, 36,600 trees have been distributed through the program. Funds raised from the program go towards source water protection projects and programming in Saskatchewan.
This year, ten species are available through the program, with free delivery being offered to eight communities in Saskatchewan. Orders will be ready for pick-up at the beginning of June 2023.

Robin Flicek
Agri-Environmental Watershed Coordinator
Robin is one of the Agri-Environmental Watershed Coordinators for the Northwest District, where she helps farmers and ranchers navigate and access the Prairie Watershed Climate Program (PWCP). She also helps deliver watershed programming in her district. She grew up on a mixed Farm North of Cut Knife, SK, where she was very involved in all day-to-day farm and ranching operations. She started a herd of Hereford cattle which has grown and remains with her family today. Robin attended Olds College after high school, where she graduated with a diploma in AG Business, Majoring in Finance. She returned home to marry Randy, who is a butcher, and together they built a Ranch south of Neilburg and welcomed three awesome kids. When Robin isn't busy working, she enjoys roping, snowboarding, photography, and all things Western lifestyle.

Stephanie Huel
Watershed Education Coordinator
Stephanie delivers educational programming throughout Saskatchewan, including the Caring for Our Watersheds program. She grew up in a small town southwest of Moose Jaw. As a kid, her family operated a small grain farm. Over the years her family's land has been converted to tree plantings and wildlife habitat. Her family’s love of nature eventually pushed her toward getting a B.S.A in Environmental Science from the University of Saskatchewan. When Stephanie isn't busy working, she enjoys camping, hiking, photography, reading, gardening, and knitting.
